Bee on a Wildflower

I find it so interesting to get an up-close look at these creatures. I LOVE those see-thru wings.
Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day, for it is life, the very life of life.- The Sanskrit

So beautiful - and so deceiving. I got stung by one of those as a kid - never forgot it.

But the close ups are so cool - almost makes it look soft and fluffy!

Beautiful and remind me of the nice long-days we had in summer... Not the case nowadays where we only have few hours of light!

That really makes me miss summer. Nice photo. But, at least it's warm today and I can still enjoy my pansies outside.

Great shot. Snow has covered things now and life is different but still awsome!

Love it! I really like shooting macro too! It's pretty neat when you can see the hairs on a bee!

Very nice! Love the juxtaposition of the yellow fuzz and purple frills. Also the wings look comparitively stubby to that fat yellow body.
