Taking it Slow

Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance toward the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point. Climb slowly, steadily, enjoying each passing moment; and the view from the summit will serve as a fitting climax for the journey.- Harold B. Melchart

I didn't realize what kind of surgery you had. I suspect that you're probably in more discomfort than you're revealing. So, here's wishing you a speedy, 55 or 60 MPH, recovery...and a slow climb of the mountain after that! :;-)

Kerri,
Wishing you the best, and know this...once you are healed, you are going to feel SO much better! I've had this surgery, also, and it's one of the best things to happen to my body. Hope you are out and about with your camera again, soon!

Just now seeing this Kerri. Glad you are feeling better. I had a partial last year and it took quite a while. As others have said, just be patient, and "listen" to your body. Don't do too much too early, it will hinder in the long run! Wishing you a speedy recovery my friend!
