Still on the Journey

As they fall...some don't quite make it all they way to the ground - but get caught on a branch. Over the years I have taken many shots of leaves like this, their journey to the forest floor not quite complete.
To finish the moment, to find the journey's end in every step of the road, to live the greatest number of good hours, is wisdom.

I love the deep color on this leaf. You're very good at capturing the real beauty in things...even dying things. :-)

What a great find... I find the leaves that are caught before making it to the ground quite interesting!

You've done a fine job capturing it!

Yes, I've been taking these shots, too. It's a treat to see the spot of color on the bare limbs or cradled in a bush.

Nice shot. Most of our leaves are down now. Things are looking awfully bare

We are thinking alike today my Friend :) This is such a rich and beautiful fall image!!

There is such beauty in that old dead leaf, that didn't make it to the ground yet.
And you married the picture and the quote in such a clever way.
Thanks, Kerri.

What a beautiful shot! Our 'fall' (such as it is) is short but just about at peak right now. My aunt was a prof at Va Tech in Blacksburg...are you a fan?
