The Ant - A Small Wonder

The true way to be humble is not to stoop until you are smaller than yourself, but to stand at your real height against some higher nature that will show you what the real smallness of your greatness is. ~Phillips Brooks

Now that IS how to be humble, and it's the perfect quote to accompany the portrait of an ant. Truly ~
Have a beautiful Saturday. xo

I look at all the ants in my yard and I think "Gross... disgusting..." I look at your photo and I think "oh... how wondrous!"

You can sure make the world look different with your beautiful photos Kerri!

Yeah, I've had some run-ins with this 'small wonder' lately. Boy!! Are they tenacious!!! It's good as an example to us, but sooooo annoying at times! LOL

Fabulous photo!
Ants have been colonizing my gardens and I hope that all they are doing is just aerating them.
Have a great weekend!

What a photo, Kerri! I have been known to sit and watch ants at work for hours. (That's when I am really in the "zone".) I think they are amazing. Your photos are, too!!

Very nice image Kerri! I know firsthand how hard it can be to keep these active little guys in the plane of focus. Well done!
