Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Wow, great photo.
Needs to shave them!Such detail Kerri! Love it!
Hmmmm....It looks like it's part bee, part wasp, part hairy mammoth! LOL
Fabulous capture! Very rich
Good shot. He/she must be tiny!
They look feathery those legs and the body is a beautiful burnt orange. I love your quote - I see some new and interesting creature every time I go out with my camera these days it seems. I don't know what this one is.
Hi Kerri...Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and colors...even a wasp? can be lovely!!

Does look like a (handsome) wasp.Normally I'm so busy trying to stay away from wasps that I wouldn't see any detail, or want to, but you manage to show his beauty in this fabulous photo, Kerri. Thanks for sharing it.
great shot! here is a link I came upon while trying to google it: http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com/insect-identification.html#INV it requires an upload of the photo and I did not want to do so without your permission... so I thought I would just pass along link.also check out Linda Carson's blog today www.the7msnranch.com; your wasp and her wasp are almost exact opposite in color patterns... pretty freaky insect world :)
Great macro...makes that critter look very beautiful. Love its color.
What ever it is, it sure has brilliant colors. Colors of nature that scream don't touch me!
