Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Very fun! I like the shot. That is, until the berries start to ferment and you have drunken waxwings flying into your windows!
Great photograph and accompanying quote! Quite a long stretch there. Those waxwings love their berries.
I love those masked bandits! Bob is right: they can actually get drunk on berries. We have a huge bush about 10 feet long and 8 feet high and 5 feet wide that a flock of about 20 birds absolutely denuded of berries in two days late last winter. That's the only time we see them here.
Very lovely! They are such neat birds.
Such a beautiful bird! Wonderful photo.
a great quote to go with this craning neck!
When I lived in MD, every winter a group of Cedar Waxwings would come by and eat all the berries of the tree in our front yard. They would devour all of them in an hour or so and then move on. It was a highlight of my winter.Lovely photo!
Stunning photo! Love the quote too!
Such a clear detailed photo. Great shot.
This is a fabulous capture! We had tons of them here last year and I took lots of photos, but none this good! They're some of my favorites! Hope they come back this way...
One of my favorite birds. I have only seen twice. Lovely photo :)
i don't get those here but i sure wish i did.beautiful picture and a wonderful quote!!
Beautiful bird, and very intent.
What a lovely bird. Don't believe I have ever seen one before.
I love Cedar Waxwings, great photo. When I saw them on the Yaupon Hollies at Lowe's I had to get one and plant it.
