Outside My Window

Our senses are indeed our doors and windows on this world, in a very real sense the key to the unlocking of meaning and the wellspring of creativity.
~ Jean Houston
About this image: Taken standing in my living room through the window. I thought the birdie blended in well with the leaves. Not sure what the ID is on this bird - If you know, please leave me a comment. It was raining again - hence the little specs in the shot :)

  2. I've no idea of its name, but he/she is the perfect birdy shape. Fat and fluffy, with a cute beak and shiny eyes. A painter would love him.

  3. Great image Kerri - without seeing from side, shape of bill and coloration, my thought is Scarlet Tanager.

  15. The look on the bird's face says, "Let me inside with you!" My shots through windows never get this crisp - you must have cleaner windows!
