Blue Jay - Open Wide!

It’s not because things are difficult that we dare not venture. It’s because we dare not venture that they are difficult.

This blue jay was hanging out on the feeder wreath and had to open wide to get that peanut!

Hello kerri
your photographs really appeal to me...there is something intangible that speaks to my soul. Lots of people take great photos but yours communicate.

What a mouth full of goodness!
Great shot of this fast funny bird.
As a child we found a baby and mom raised it. As an adult it would fly around outside but come home to sleep. This picture takes me back to those days. JJ would sleep with me in a towel on my bed. He lived to be 3 years old. He would get my jewelry box and take my rings and hide them under pillows or under the throw rugs or better yet...fly out the door and take my rings into the trees.
