And Sandy Was Her Name

Cloudy Skies
(taken from our moving car Sunday 10-28-12 - skies courtesy of Hurricane Sandy)

Sandy met a winter storm from the west and arctic air from Canada
and gave us snowy weather
Thinking of all of those in harms way and the first responders
Thoughts, Prayers, and Positive Vibes being sent to you all.

Update Post Sandy - We lost power at 3am and got it back by 2:30pm today.  Sadly a home in our neighborhood was badly damaged by fire.

Those little "marker" flags in the first photo look like flowers at first glance. I really like that photo.

Hi Kerri,
Be safe through storm Sandy.

My son just wrote me and said in Toronto Canada our City. A sign fell on a lady and killed her.

Yes I am in Canada and it is strange that in Virginia has snow 16 inches of it. Now we are getting bits and pieces of new yorks winds. Not us up North yet.

The textures in the photos really make them pop. Glad to see you're playing with the phone too.

Beautiful images. Glad to hear all okay for you. We got by unscathed as well and still had power. Others were not so lucky in Philly.
