Patterns in the Bark

What we call chaos is just patterns we haven’t recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can't decipher.

Hope I am not barking up the wrong tree, but I really fell in love with this collection.

Very nice Kerri! The first one looks like camouflage fabric.

I'm fascinated by trees...it's nice to find others who are equally interested!

The bark textures are beautiful and I agree with Dot, the first one looks just like camouflage fabric!

The first one looks like a sycamore tree. I have one in my yard. They are forever peeling. Great idea for a photo. Very nice!!

Very cool! Interesting designs and colors in the tree bark. I have never seen anything like your first photo.

Beautiful pictures! Among them I love the first one most, the similar pattern with one kind of clothes.

I like the composition and the patterns. The first which I think is a sycamore tree is my favorite.

Bark is something that many people never notice. As a gardener, I love to use trees with bark for interest in winter

Bow! Wow!

Lol! Now don't ask us to sit up and beg next!!! ;-)

I never stopped to think there are so many different types of tree bark. Just shows we take so much for granted. The first one is really nice.

I am glad to see I am not the only one who takes photos of bark! Ü If not for a digital camera, I would not have started this but am so glad I did.
