Very cool! Interesting designs and colors in the tree bark. I have never seen anything like your first photo.

Very nice Kerri! The first one looks like camouflage fabric.
I'm fascinated by trees...it's nice to find others who are equally interested!
The bark textures are beautiful and I agree with Dot, the first one looks just like camouflage fabric!
Ay, bark is beautful to photograph.
You did well there all great shots.
Parade and lights post started today.
I like these tree photos. Very cute.
The first one looks like a sycamore tree. I have one in my yard. They are forever peeling. Great idea for a photo. Very nice!!
OOH, beautiful photos, Kerri!
I love to photograph bark too.
All good...but I especially like the top one: surreal looking. Thanks for your bon voyage wishes!

????
Beautiful pictures! Among them I love the first one most, the similar pattern with one kind of clothes.
Terrific collection. Perfect closeups.
I always enjoy visiting your blog.
I like the composition and the patterns. The first which I think is a sycamore tree is my favorite.
The textures are wonderful here, Kerri.
I too really appreciated the movie, Waking Ned Devine.
Bark is cool. The textures, so expressive... I love to experience bark. Great pictures. Wonderful group.
Thanks,
Wayne

great series. fantastic textures. well done
Wow, an impressive frame that emphasizes texture and composition very appropriate. Very good.
Greetings.
Bark is something that many people never notice. As a gardener, I love to use trees with bark for interest in winter
Wow, that first shot is incredible.
But, you know my taste . . .

Bow! Wow!
Lol! Now don't ask us to sit up and beg next!!! ;-)
I never stopped to think there are so many different types of tree bark. Just shows we take so much for granted. The first one is really nice.
Beautiful and interesting subject for photographing! The first photo is the most interesting to me.
I am glad to see I am not the only one who takes photos of bark! Ü If not for a digital camera, I would not have started this but am so glad I did.
