Winter Storm Blair - Part 2

We ventured out today, after Winter Storm Blair.  

What my picture does not show is all of those branches are encased in ice.

You can see the ice a bit better on these tree branches.

When the sun hit the branches, it made everything sparkle.

Another storm is forecasted for this Friday and Saturday.

I'm ready for SPRING!

 

Winter Storm Blair - Part 1

 Well, the freezing rain did arrive on Sunday night into Monday - 

01-05-25 through 01-06-25.

It has everything encased in ice.

Several areas without power here - thankfully we did not lose power.

Freezing Rain

We have a Winter Storm Warning in effect for our area that looks to be

more freezing rain and ice rather than snow.  I would rather have the snow!

A very large leaf seen at our local Horticulture Garden from a prior summer.

This type of plant is called Caladium and they produce really large leaves.

I thought it looked like a Big Heart.
