YELLOW THROATED WARBLER

This is the bird that started it all!  Seen at Bisset Park in Radford, Virginia - September 2007.
I didn't know what it was until I did some research found here: http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Yellow-throated_Warbler_dtl.html
A great website for identifying birds.

This little bird "Sparked" me and I have fallen totally in LOVE with birds - and butterflies - and
bugs.  You could say this bird sparked my love for nature!

The warblers are migrating this time of year - what a pretty find! I saw a few Myrtle warblers this weekend, but they are not such a showy bird. Can you tell I am a bird watcher? :)

Its hard to get a warbler sit still for a picture!

A pretty bright colored bird. We don't have any of those around here. Nice catch.

Yellow-throated Warblers? Wow. I saw one this summer out in the middle of a parairie and no lens to reach it. Oh well. You got some good shots of it. I hope one stops here if they are migrating.

That is a very pretty bird - I have never seen one like it. Thank you for sharing photos of the animals and insects in your area. It's a treat for me to see the creatures that do not call ND home.
