Oh nice, these are such pretty pictures. I love the leaning trees and yes, the winds will do that. Most trees do not grow straight up.
I would also be curious as to seeing this area with leaves... very picturesque.
That looks like a beautiful park. I love the way the winding path just pulls you into the photo.
I too think the trees are leaning because of the wind. They do make a great picture! I love paths, always makes me want to walk down them.
Such a beautiful place. It would be fun to see it in spring and summer also.
That's funny, they look like they're leaning in to the turns in the path.

Great photos there, and wondering whats beyond, follow that path.
New post now showing
Lovely meandering path.

the leaning trees add such beauty to a beautiful winding path .....:)
Swing and Sway popped into my mind
Then envisioning a stick shift taking those curves with the trees…
Neat capture of these trees
What a lovely path to take a stroll on...and the leaning trees are beautiful!
Enjoyed visiting your blog...off to look at more of your pics!

I think its the wind too. Good shots.
Some days I lean like that too, away from the wind.
That is a pretty roadway. I love the way the leaves have fallen on the road.
Very nice perspective with the road and trees. Nice shots.
Cool!
Beautiful shota nd a nice place for walk
I fancy "the long and winding road"s. Good capture!
PS Thank you for the comment on Blog-spamming!
Fantastic images Kerri!!!
I would guess the wind as well.
This looks like an interesting place to get some shots - where exactly is Bissett Park in relation to the VT campus? I'd like to go there when I get back next year.
Bissett Park is actually in Radford VA - a short ride from Blacksburg. It is directly off of Main Street.
I do enjoy looking these photos. I imagined myself walking along that path. Lovely photos!
What a pretty path! The leaning trees make it that much more unique. I can't wait to see your summer shots of this area!
