One that just feels yucky?
You can't put your finger on WHY
but it is just a BLAH day.
You can't put your finger on WHY
but it is just a BLAH day.
That's the day I'm having today.
So I thought I would post some of my beloved benches.
They always cheer me up.
I know to some they may look lonely....but to me
they are beautiful!
I don't know why I have this LOVE for benches...I just do :)
See, I feel better already.

Your benches look very nice in B&W!
I think B & W is so wonderful with some shots…this is one of those times. I remember when I was a little girl my Daddy showed me how to process B&W we had a dark room. WOW what fun that was Plus his enlarger. See your day made mine some GOOD MEMORIES
Like I said before, I love your benches. I take photos of benches too. There are many benches along our paved trails here.
I know exactly what you mean about that time of day and often photography or videomaking snaps me out of that feeling. Good captures!
On days when I feel blah, I have to figure out something that will help me contain me, to help me tap into contentedness. Perhaps these benches help you do that? They do project self-containment and contentment, don't you think.
I think this is a wonderful post, Kerri, and it makes me feel good that posting a photo of your beloved bench made you feel better. I have those days when I feel like I'm running down the road with my wheels way out of alignment. I too have found that making myself do something I enjoy helps get me straightened up again.
Beautiful photos of the benches.
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
Sure have had some of those days, hmmm Maybe i should try a bench.
these days come and go. best to find something creative to do, or just stay in bed :).

You don’t need too much to be cheer up. I am that kind of person as well who also use to have such blah days. But in the freshness of the little things my heart finds its morning and refreshes itself. :-))
chin up deary.

So basically, if the day's a bummer, and this is where to put it! cool pix
So sorry you are feeling blah!!
I will send happy thoughts your way and a little prayer.
Great bench shots. :-)

Self medicating benches, the cure for what ails you. Glad you chased the blahs away and I do love your bench photos. Good stuff Kerri.
You've probably heard this before but isn't the old saying "A bench a day keeps the blahs away" or maybe that was an apple or something, anyway great photos!
))HUGG(( ;-)
Missing you today. All OK?
Beautiful b&w photo.
Moody and evocative images!
Hope you feel better soon :)
I had one of these days a few weeks ago: http://spatter.typepad.com/spatter/2007/11/the-beginning-o.html
Liked your photos a lot.
Hi there, Kerri. I've always loved the simplicity of a bench in a public place. On the surface, they're very lonely things. But they're home to any number of small and large dramas; such that a picture of an empty one seems to invite the mind to wander.
Your photography continues to grow on me. Impressive only begins to describe your ability with a lens.
I know I'm quite late with this, but I hope the benches helped chase away the "blahs" you were feeling.
