Little pieces of my life and my photos.
great perspective, great mood.
Good black and white fences...
I think we like the same kind of pictures. You are doing great with your photography!
The fact you heard the posts calling says to me just how much you are in touch with your surroundings, and how you are in touch with your life as a whole.Enjoy Enjoy.I found this SIMPLY little poem I thought you might like.Simple Things Daybreak, and here am IStarbound against the skyHave you ever watched a blossom fallOr heard a Robin call and wondered why?For awhile, think on the simple thingsHow a smile can cause a heart to singDaybreak is just a prayerFor the many things the day can bringA heart full of simple thingsNightbird, ride the windFind your way to where the day beginsShadows waiting in the fading lightHave whispered their goodnight and slipped awayHear me now, think on the simple thingsHow a song can cause the world to singKneel now with me in prayerFor many things the day can bringA heart full of simple thingsA heart full of simple things... I hope you enjoyed it..Tom
Those are great photos! You do a wonderful job!And thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such kind comments!
As always i enjoyed stopping by to see how you can capture great photos from simple things.
Who would have thought an old fence would make such an attractive picture? Great shot.
Such everyday things speak to us, everyday, don't you think, Kerri? We are so familiar with them as we ordinarily look at them that it gives us a thrill of delight to see them depicted anew, in light and shadow and color and perspectve.I almost posted wood and screen today - perhaps I'll do it tomorrow. And thank you for the compliment about presenting Little Rock in an inviting fashion.
A great B & W post!(I'm sorry - I just couldn't help it - but it was great)
Yer know, you posted a great post.come and visit theres lots to see.
Fantastic shots. Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
My feeling is, after getting interested in taking pictures, just want to take pictures of all that seems attractive to me. Nice black and white pictures.
Hi I really can imagne your feelings about this photo, its so well done,I like both photo's very much:)Come and look at my blog and see my alternative christmas decoration. Have a great weekend!JoAnn greetings,
Oh yes, I like posts too. You've taken some great photos of themI liked your poem old wom tigley. :-)
Ooohhhh! I love posts, too! Somewhere on my blog (October I think) I posted some beach photos and all the boardwalks and fenceposts. Yours is a beauty!!!
Now this is the darndest thing, a post of a post :) :)Great work Kerry, although I'm mostly a color guy the b&w really works here!
That's what I really like about photography. It makes one appreciate things they otherwise would not notice the beauty thereof. Good job on the fences, and thanks for the comment on my blog.
Love the photo, very nicely put
I like the top one best. Interesting use of depth of field in both of them. Maybe fence posts could be the start of a long-term series/project?
Hi Kerri, I linked to your field posts photo in my own post today.
It is a pleasure to find joy in the little things and posts do have sturdy qualities that suggest safety. The black & white photo makes them look glamorous.
Nice! :)Your blog is so beautiful! :)))
Nice B&W photos.
What great shots of something so simple!
Really nice pictures. I like the thought of the poem as I was thinking that those pictures would be well wedded to one. Good stuff!
that is really good Kerri, love the angles.
Wooden benches and posts just seem to go together - those are interesting, moody photographs. I think you'd love the areas around here ... prairies with lots and lots of fenceposts.
I like images in nature that have texture, color and line that draw the eye and the posts do the same for me here too!
I like them too! Great shots. This I Do...
I can see why you love posts. Wonderful eye for the "mundane" that is beautiful.
Look at it this way... you could say this country was tamed by the fence post. I don't know if that is a good thing or not, but they do play a significant role in our history. Two neat shots you got.
Fantastic details, perfect in B and W! wow, leaves, benches, and fence posts, all from the beauty of wood!
great dof, wonderful textures
Something about you and fences...;-)...Love it!! Great color. Meshes perfectly.
I'm glad you find pleasure in simple things like fence posts, because I love seeing them! These shots are great!
