A Visit to Deerfield Trail

One of my favorite trails for birds and creatures.
This trail had a nice mix of open spaces and shady spaces.
This is leading toward the trees and some shade

A pond is visible soon after you arrive on the trail....

And where there is water there are these little critters
zooming around :)

Bluebird boxes are abundant along the trail

And a nice bench located near a creek.
A wonderful spot to rest and take in the view...
The really happy person is the one who can enjoy the scenery, even when they have to take a detour.

This is beautiful series of photos as well as the previous one in which the butterfly photo is spectacular. In this series “a little critters” photo really took my eye. But also, a view of a nice bench is so inviting.

A lovely trail you have her. No wonder the insects and the birds thrive. I particularly liked the boxes for the bluebird.

I could sit all day on that bench. Swallowtails are so much fun to photograph. They really don't seem to mind :o)

Looking forward to more!

Wonderful photos from the trail.
Walking trials always look inviting to me. I'm looking forward to finding new ones when I move.

I LOVE the photo of the bluebird boxes. It reminds me of my grandpa and all the bird houses he used to make. Great work, as always!

Thanks for your hearty welcome! I've had a wonderful holiday in England, I'll be posting pics soon. But meanwhile I've been cruising back through your posts during the last 3 weeks, you have posted some gorgeous photos! I love the butterflies and dragonflies, and the picture of your mum and dad. Hope he had a happy birthday!
