Hi, from Brookville, Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI do like this photo you posted for Sky Watch Friday. The hint of a moon in that blue sky is nice.
This is a very impressive photo.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about a moon in the day sky...perhaps it reminds us that it's ever present and just because we don't see something doesn't mean it doesn't still exist.
ReplyDeleteOh, so beautifully blue, Kerri!
ReplyDeleteReally a nice shot. And everyone semed to love the moon... and son we can go there too... but first a lot of millions :-)
ReplyDeleteNice weekend.
A little piece of moon :)
ReplyDeleteAnd very beautiful photo.
I have to find out, where your city is, I am curious because of that blue flower of your earlier post :)
This is a very pretty photo... it's as if the moon is made of tissue paper. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe moon in the very blue sky is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful sky watch. very effective
ReplyDeleteVery nice! The blue is so pretth and the white moon sets it off.
ReplyDeleteIt gave a nice, cool feeling to the clear blue sky and the green "framing".
ReplyDeleteI liked it!
PS Thank you for a nice comment.
beautiful picture, great.
ReplyDeleteWow.. beautiful. Moon shots can be so soothing.. this one is for sure.
ReplyDeleteYour sky watch photo framed with the branches that look like silhouette and with the moon on the blue sky is wonderful and relaxing.
ReplyDeleteLove it
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture and very nicely framed. That moon looks like it's just settling down in the arms of those trees.
ReplyDeleteLove that shot...you live in a beautiful place. We love Virginia and try to get there as much as we can!
ReplyDeleteI like the daytime moon too
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I like the moon in the morning sky too. The sky is such a pretty blue.
ReplyDeleteNice moon shot!
ReplyDeletePetunia's SWF
I don't know why, but this strikes me as a "happy photo"! I just smiled as i saw it, it has a cheerful look about it!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Kerry.
ReplyDeleteI remember Anne from Little Rock DP posting the below poem.. a while back.. hope you enjoy it as much as I did when Anne posted it.
ReplyDeleteI see the moon and the moon sees me
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree.
Please let the moon that shines on me
Shine on the ones I love.
Over the mountains, over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be.
Please let the moon that shines on me
Shine on the ones I love.
I hear a lark and he calls to me
Singing a song full of memory.
Please send the song he sings to me
Back to the ones I love.
Over the mountains, over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be.
Please take the song he sings to me
Back to the ones I love.
I feel the sun as it warms my face
Smiling down with boundless grace.
Please let the sun that smiles on me
Smile on the ones I love.
Over the mountains, over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be.
Please let the sun that smiles on me
Smile on the ones I love.
It 's always quite amazing to see the moon in the day. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive. The rich blue and the hint of a moon is superb.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot and beautiful "framed" too!
ReplyDeleteCool shot Kerri
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty. The translucent moon glows against the deep blue of the sky. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sky Watch!!! I enjoyed your photos, lovely colors contrasting the light of the moon and the darkness cheers!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful morning moon. Its very impressive.
ReplyDeletegreat composition! nice for swf!
ReplyDeleteGreat blue, wonderful photo Kerri!
ReplyDeleteJust a little moon will do.....and it is a perfect Sky Watch photo.
ReplyDeleteThe goats are still here. And they stare at me every time I go outside. We have a stream of running water on our land. My husband is down there now putting up a fence so the goats will have running water and they will be far from the house. I will be glad to get those things out of the dog pen.
So do I, and this is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous photo! I think it's magical to see the moon during the day.
