Yellow-rumped Warbler

  This bird is nicknamed a BUTTER BUTT....you can see why in the pic below.

That yellow rump helps GREATLY in IDing this bird ;)

  2. The first time I saw one in my yard I ran for my bird book. It took me a while, but I figured it out. Last year we had quite a few. Haven't seen any yet this year.

    I've just come back from a lovely walk at a nearby lake- bliss!
    Our sky is not as blue as yours, but some bits are breaking through the fluff of white clouds.

  13. Wow - what a beautiful bird! I am always amazed by the variety of birds that visit your area. We mainly only have robins, cardinals, blue jays, sparrows and sometimes chickadees.
