Watching the Snow

Carolina Wren watching the snow fall.
The million little things that drop into our hands, the small opportunities each day brings, He leaves us free to use or abuse and goes unchanging along His silent way.

Oh my golly Kerri - I would much rather have snow than rain! Rain causes too many sewer and water issues around here - snow ... well I guess that is why I live in Buffalo - I love it!

(of course it is only the beginning of the season - in February I will be sick of it and praying for the end of it to come soon! LOL)

Your photos always leave me gasping! Do you shoot them through a window while you sit inside warm and dry? Or do you go outside and wait, stealth-like but cold? Inquiring minds want to know.

or maybe it's just me.

Oh my... the Wren reminds me of a story I'll have to soon blog! So sweet! We get so little snow here in a year that it's almost, dare I say, a treat to see it on other blogs?

How beautiful and I know he has a beautiful "tea kettle" song too -- we don't have Carolina Wrens here but we do have snow! I like to see the wrens when we visit my sister in Roanoke.

Stunning! I'm curious too - do you shoot outside or get these beautiful shots inside?

Yep! The same storm is barreling our way. They're saying Sunday to Monday here too. It will be nice to be just like the birdie, looking at it...but from INSIDE!! Brrrr! :-)

And, that's the only thing I can really say about the snow and cold frost - photo ops!!! Whoo hoo!

Oh I love this. Perky little feathered one, watching the snow, and the tree greenery, blesses my heart.

Thank you!

Lovely photo! Suppose I shouldn't say that it's going to be in the upper 60's and mostly sunny this weekend (unless the icky fog comes in, lol!)...

Another beautifully composed image! This weekend we are getting rain, then sleet, and then 5 inches of snow.

Cute photo. You captured a great expression/body position from the wren.
