During our first snowfall of Winter 2010 the birds were out in full force.
This goldfinch sheltered in the pine trees while waiting for a turn at the feeders.
YAY!! Your first snowfall! I love watching little birdies flitting around in new snow!...It's later on, when you're about tired of it when it gets a bit much!! For humans though. Never for the birdies! ^_^
Great pictures. I haven't been by in a while, and I loved "catching up." I'm taking a class that included using Twitter. They "catch" followers just like you "catch" bird pictures: You feed them!

Beautiful photograph! Amazing that some of our goldfinches have much more yellow while others are very faded. That one is gorgeous.
