Hiding In the Goldenrod - Macro Monday

Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place.
~Zora Neale Hurston
I think this is a type of crab spider - however - I have no idea what type.
I found this info on Wikipedia about crab spiders. I LOVE Wikipedia!
This guy was itsy-bitsy. I used my 105mm Macro Lens for this shot (seen in my sidebar under favorites).

Hi there - great picture - most people shy away from spiders, but they make for splendid pictures.

The 105 is a great bit of kit!

Such a wonderful macro shot, not crazy about the subject matter, but it really is too good not to look.

This wonderful images proves that is you take the time to look closer at nature, you might often find something truly beautiful and interesting. Fantastic, as always!

Except for the fact that the word 'spider' might be in his name, he's pretty cute! ^_^ And I'm with you about Wikipedia. I LOVE it!!!

Whoa! That is intense and pretty at the same time. I'll not be showing this post to my wife. It'll freak her out.

Yes, I def. think it is a crab spider. Great shot! =) LOVE those amazing, clever creatures. Wanna eat bugs? Hide where bugs go: e.g., a nectary!

Oh wow this is just amazing. A bit "creepy" but lately I've been brave enough myself to get up close and personal (so to speak) with spiders. Yours is a fantastic capture.
