There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate.
~Linda Grayson
I'd like to think that this little bird (I think it was a White-breasted Nuthatch) flying up behind the Red-bellied Woodpecker was a friend coming to visit. Maybe not bringing Chocolate but a nice plump nut!
I have been experimenting with a new photo editing software called Snapseed. I used it on this photo and the Dogwood with Dewdrops from yesterday. It is a very easy program to use! What kind of photo editing software are you using?

I don't do a great deal of editing so just use iPhoto and sometimes PicMonkey. I used to edit a great deal more but found it too time consuming and I wasn't getting housework and laundry done.... :-)
Great capture!
I use Photoshop Elements to edit and resize my photos. I only skim the surface of what all this program can do!
cute!
Always LOVE your photos. TY for the calendar, I use it as my wallpaper. You are a peach! :D
I don't edit much, except on the camerawesome (got this thanks to your link to appsmitten), but this is really lovely.
I have a fridge magnet with this message in French, I'm will post a pic of it later!
Oh Kerri - this is just gorgeous! I look forward every day to seeing your wonderful photos. I would love to have a hi res version for my desktop this month! You always have to share the real estate with my grandchildren, but I love putting your calendars on my desktop! Everyone that sees them comments on how beautiful they are! ~chris
Ah yes, the friend with chocolate! Great shot :)
Your photos are always amazing, and thank you for the calendar :)
I have Paint Shop Pro for editing my photos, but I usually just use Microsoft Office Picture Manager as I don't edit much really! It is good to see what other photographers use though :)
I use Snapseed on my iPhone, but use CS5 and Lightroom on the computer.
Cute capture.
I have to agree that a friend with chocolate is just the ticket! I like the editing on this photo. I use picmonkey and have Photoshop Elements but am intimidated by it. I can do the basics with it though.
I love the little fellow and his visitor
great shot
I use PicMonkey mostly
Love it. Great capture. Never heard of snapseed. I just can't find my "zen" in photo processing software. Trying out picmonkey, but am so uninspired with it. Oh well, ...
Don't you just love those red-bellied woodpeckers? We have one that's been coming to our deck for a while now and he's so cool! The sound he makes almost always makes my Pug start barking. Ha!
I use PSE 10 or Picmonkey
This is an AWESOME photo!!! I don't do a lot of edits (mainly because I don't know how yet). I've never heard of Snapseed - it is easy to use? What benefits do you like with it over other programs?
