Sounding The Alarm

He who sings scares away his woes.

I found a cool site with a BUNCH of bird sounds shown.
The Carolina Wren is listed several times (scroll down)
and it shows his song, call, and alarm along with lots of other birds.
It's found - HERE

And don't forget the CHOCOLATE GIVEAWAY - HERE

  6. We get wrens every spring. They are my alarm clock. Noisy little birds. And very brave. Will get within two feet of a cat to warn them away. Thanks for the link for bird calls.

  9. A really great shot. I like how he is in mid-song (or alarm).

Your photos make the lady wish she had a better camera (she has a little Fujifilm Finepix 2 megapixel with 3x zoom). A bit frustrating to try and get any decent photos.

  14. Hi Kerri, Great post today and it reminded me of a show tune "I Whistle a Happy Tune" from the 1951 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The King and I. Do you know it? It's probably a lot older than you. :-) Have a great day. John
