Beautiful, Kerri. Aren't mourning doves just so pretty.. in their own dumb-as-a-post way? Great shot. And that looks like a soon-to-be violet, maybe.
I love it when the Mourning Doves honor my garden and take in the morning light on my deck!
Have a wonderful weekend Kerri!

Fantastic shot of that bud Kerri! I bet it will be a beautiful flower.
You gotta love the Mourning doves. We have SO many and can hear them cooing them all day.

Guess from now on I better use the preview!
What I said was - There is just something about mourning doves. I'm not sure if it is the smoothness of their heads or wings - I just love them!
The close-up of the dove is absolutely outstanding! I'm looking forward to seeing the flower when it blooms - it's already beautiful as it is!
We don't get doves. Nice pic of it.
A dove photo is stunning. I couldn't stop looking at it. And a flower bud photo is just great.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Great shot of the dove. I think they are very funny when they walk.
Fantastic Kerri... The dove picture is wonderful and I'd like to have a hello in the morning from a bird in my yard!!! Have a nice week end.
The bud is gorgeous and I love the mourning dove. The seem such gentle, nice birds.
Sweet little morning dove...and is that an Iris? Lovely!
splendid gift to us sandy
Beautiful, and you are so right.
Both pictures are lovely.I like the shadow on the bud.
Blessings,Ruth
Oh how I love to hear the mourning doves with their gentle cooing... that is a terrific capture, Kerri -- so beautiful! Gorgeous iris bud, too!
Have wonderful weekend! :)
What a beautiful color combination in your flower pic!
Lovely photos, Kerri I think doves are very photogenic, they are sweet looking.
Nice of that dove to sit so still for you - great capture. And lots of promise in that iris bud - look forward to seeing it in bloom.
Kerri...both the dove and the bud are gorgeous!! Always a joy visiting here!
Amazing shots..
Oh, so lovely. Mourning doves have the most distinctive eyes, don't they? With their blue eyeshadow in a circle, it just looks so pretty.
Raining here, but it's a gentle one. We lucked out yesterday because the forecast called for rain but the sun won out.
You gotta love the Mourning doves. We have SO many and can hear them cooing them all day.

Very nice image of the much maligned Mourning Dove. Good for you, Kerri, giving the poor dove some screen time!
