Color Your World

Grackles have some AMAZING colors in their feathers. I had never been able to capture their iridescence until now.
Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world. Constantly color your picture gray, and your picture will always be bleak. Try adding some bright colors to the picture by including humor, and your picture begins to lighten up.

Just seconds before I saw your post my husband called me to the window to see the first Grackle of spring in our yard! Now we're waiting for the Red-winged blackbirds!

This is a great shot of the pesky grackle. You know, until I saw the colors by taking photos, I did not appreciate them at all. Now I think they're awesome.

I posted a Grackle to flickr last week. Unfortunately I didn't capture the colors as wonderfully as you did here. This is AWESOME!

An excellent capture! Having that 'glow' in a photograph is certainly not easy. I noticed one showed up at the feeder yesterday. Spring weather may be slow, but it's coming - I hope. ATB!

Oh my Lord! We have been trying to record the grackles here in TX, because they sound like they've been listening to some kind of radio frequency. Bizarre!
Great shot!

I've seen those colors in the wild, but in my photos the birds always look solid black. Great job capturing the iridescence.
