Singing in the Rain

Taken thru the window looking out into my front yard.

Truly to sing, that is a different breath.
Rainer Maria Rilke

This little guy was singing his heart out in the rain one morning.
Beautiful music!

Beautiful! The birds are singing their spring love songs here too although we still have many inches of snow on the ground. Every day I watch for my first red-winged blackbird to return!

It's raining here too and the birds are chirping and enjoying this wonderful rain! I read your interview on Country Girl, thanks for sharing some of your tips! Your photos are stunning! I can only hope, one day, to capture such stunning images as the two of you!

That is just too cute! Perhaps that's where they got the idea for the song.. from observing nature!

I just came over from Kate's blog - it was really interesting to read the interview and I love your photos. I am always stopping in the street to listen to the birds and it amazes me how many people fail to notice them. Your photos open our eyes to the world and I love your quotes which bring even more to the image. It touches something deeper I think to have both. Lovely blog and wonderful photos - an inspiration. I will follow you now so I can keep visiting. Kate x
