Learning to See

Learn to see, and then you'll know that there is no end to the new worlds of our vision. ~Carlos Castaneda

Photography has helped me "learn" to see in a whole new way.

Sometimes when I take photographs, I see even more after opening it up in Photoshop. But I know what you mean. I love how photography has helped me see.

Your quotes are inspiring, as well as the way you have learned to see and share your world. Thanks.

Your quote says it all. The wonderful world of photography. I look at everything with the possibility of a picture.
Have a great day Kerri.

Hi Kerri, Photography has opened my eyes too. Your comment is so right and the picture is a beauty. Sometimes we are so "busy" with life that we don't slow down to enjoy the beauty of the smaller things. Your photo here shows us what we're missing. Thank you Kerri!

Woody Allen famously said that 90% of life is just showing up. Perhaps 90% of photography is "just" learning to see.

And much more begins to speak to us. Love how you pair quotes with your photos. I do this with scriptures.

Thanks Kerri, another lovely image, another great quote.
I'm not very observant, though I do try.

The leaves look so leathery when they are wet. Nice!

The veins in a browning leaf still mean life, don't they? I always like to "see" through your lens, Kerri.

Kerri, You are so right. Since I am "actively" looking for things to photograph, I see so many lovely things now that I overlooked before.
Thank you photography!!!!! As always, all of your shots are stunning. Love the leaf (very arty), the birds (perfect captures), and butterflies ( as the quote says, more beautiful than anything we would put on). Always a treat to see your work. Mickie :)
