Walking In Wonder

I walk the world in wonder.
~Oscar Wilde
I've been asked which comes first - the quote or the image. 99% of the time the image comes first - however - when I found this quote - it seemed to sum up exactly how I feel about walking in nature - It is ALWAYS a WONDER to me. So I searched to find something that would convey that - and this is what I found :) There is so much wonder out there if we take the time to look around.
Wishing you all a Day filled with WONDER!

A Wonder in Red

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.
~ W.B Yeats

Another amazing creature with a firm grip on a blade of grass! These little guys are so very interesting. They seem to hover over the grass until they find just the right spot to take hold. When I first started blogging I thought these little guys were dragonflies ~ but actually they are damselflies. I'm sure there are many differences between the two but the main one I know of is the way they hold their wings. Damselflies hold them close to their body, while the dragonfly has them wide open.  Id'd by Randy as an Eastern Red Damsel.

Bathe in the Tides of Nature

Open all your pores and bathe in all the tides of nature, in all her streams and oceans, at all seasons.
