That is a cool edit! I like the effect!
ReplyDeleteit's pretty. i'm glad you discovered something fun. :)
ReplyDeleteOnly through change can we grow. But why is it so darn scary? Well done Kerri.
ReplyDeletePresets sound like actions in Photoshop that you just press a button and voila - a change. Then you can adjust the opacity. Your preset made this photo perfect. Love it. (and the quote)
ReplyDeleteThat effect really worked great in the photo.
ReplyDeleteA LOVELY edit!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I'm a new GFC follower :)

Kerri, it is fun playing around with editing photos. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote og photo! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are already amazing! :-))
ReplyDeleteI like the editing process you did with this picture. I have Photoshop on our PC and may look into Lightroom a little more. I did once upon a time, but I just didn't know all that much about it. Here lately I've been using a freebie program on the web called fotoflexer which has several presets. I'm gonna see if it has one similar to "Bleach Bypass". Thanks for the tip!

I can see why you liked the shot and how nice that the program will fix it up for you! Great quote, too!
ReplyDeleteToo cool. I'm like you and have to push myself to try new things. That push usually comes in January but wanes in October. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat image, captures the action very well.
ReplyDeleteGreat image and quote!
ReplyDeleteI like this photo. Presets are wonderful, but like you, I have much more to learn about photo editing software.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures I post are just as I take them. You've inspired me to play around and edit them a bit. : )
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy a visit here!!
Wonderful quote, and very well suited to the image. I really enjoy playing around with actions in Photoshop which are quite like Presets. You'll have a lot of fun with them.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Lightroom, too! Pretty picture!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great quote! I am also a little slow at trying new things, becoming very comfortable with the familiar.
ReplyDeletei love LR and did you know you can make your own presets ? it's so much fun !!
ReplyDeleteoh, and i really love that quote....and really need to remember it everyday !!!
The beauty of digital photography is that, unless you purchase the presets or plug-ins, it costs little to experiment with new processes and try new things! Kudos to you for giving it a go! Wonderful image - keep experimenting!
